WGI is taking another unprecedented step in marching arts media. We're lowering prices. Pre-orders began this week for the 2009 World Championships DVDs at the low price of $35 a volume.

A goal of the organization is to make a high quality product and make sure it is affordable for the participants and fans to own. "It is not enough to just experience what every color guard and percussion ensemble brings to the floor at the event," said Executive Director Ron Nankervis. "These memories should be affordable so that our performers can relive the extraordinary achievement each group brings to the WGI World Championships."

WGI's newest fan, acclaimed choreographer Mia Michaels, is returning to the WGI World Championships, but this time it is not just to watch. On Sunday, April 5, Ms. Michaels will conduct a master class on the floor of UD Arena with participants from WGI color guards.

This extraordinary session will be open to the public. General admission spectator tickets are available at the door the morning of the event or available for $10 by clicking here. The doors open at 8:30 AM, class begins at 10 AM and the will run about 2 hours.

Ms. Michaels' involvement with WGI began when she was the guest clinician at Spinfest!! in 2007.
