You may already know that Chase Bank and Pepsi have started programs to give back to the communities that they serve. In today’s economy, to a small charity, any amount of money can be a great fortune and will allow them to continue to offer a quality program for our students. Please take a moment to vote right now while you still have it on your mind, and pass along this information to other to vote as well.
Pepsi’s “Refresh Everything” project starts a new list of organizations each month who have submitted their own ideas on how to refresh their organizations, or to start a new project in their community. Currently Northview HS and Seminole HS are up to win between $25,000 to $250,000. Each day, you are allowed to vote for up to ten ideas, so make sure to visit www.refresheverything.com each day and search for Northview and Seminole!
Chase has a program called "Chase Bank Community Giving" which is giving away $5 million dollars to small local charities. There are only three more days to vote for these groups, so the time to act is now on Facebook. It cost nothing to vote, nothing to join Facebook, and only takes a few minutes. Chase will be giving a minimum of $20,000 to each charity that ranks in the top 200 charities for getting votes.
Everyone who votes is given 20 votes. Each vote has to used for a different charity. Several band booster clubs have sent in their information to join the list below. If your group is not mentioned, please send your information to [email protected] to be added to the list.
If you are already a Facebook member, then just search for "Chase Community Giving", and then search for each of the charities and vote for them.
