Since its inception, the WGI Scholarship Program has provided more than $375,000 to deserving young people. This season there are plans to make it even bigger and better. The money for these scholarships comes from the 50/50 raffle at World Championships, $1 of the purchase price of each World Championship Program, and generous donations from other donors.

Each unit registered to compete at World Championships may nominate one competing member for these scholarships. A Scholarship Committee made up of nine (9) individuals representing WGI Judges, Instructors, Directors, Staff, and others active in the WGI activity, review the applications. Scholarship winners are announced at the World Championships.

The 2010 Scholarship Application is now available.    Deadline is February 5, 2010.
