Overview: Are you attending a WGI regional this season? Consider yourself a social media pro? Then apply now and join the Onsite Social Media Crew.

This is a great one or multiple day opportunity for individuals that are unable to physically help at the WGI office but are able to attend a color guard/percussion/winds regional near their hometown. In this capacity the crew member serves WGI as a social media ambassador covering WGI regional events. The crew member is required to cover these events through means of Twitter, Instagram, Vine, Snapchat, and Periscope. Members working the event will be virtually working with the WGI Communications manager on the best content approach and schedule. Those applying must also have excellent social media time management, communication and writing skills.

Details: Applicants must be proficient in the latest social media platforms. Must also share a passion for the marching arts. You will be working a full day (7 to 9 hours) alone at the WGI regional until the end of the awards ceremony. Being a part of the WGI Social Media Crew you will be required to work from your mobile phone or tablet (newer phones with great picture & video quality preferred). Extra data charges may apply. This is a voluntary one-day regional event position for those seeking to expand their knowledge on strategic social media methods for WGI.
