Allegiance Color Guard is a premier independent winter guard program dedicated to fostering growth, creativity, and excellence in the marching arts. We provide a positive, supportive, and educational environment where performers of all skill levels can thrive and achieve their potential.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Movement & Equipment Specialist to join our instructional team for the upcoming season. The ideal candidate is not only highly skilled in movement and equipment technique but also committed to inspiring and mentoring performers as they develop confidence and artistry. This is a seasonal position with weekend-only rehearsals.

Responsibilities:

Teach movement and equipment technique in both group and individual settings
Provide consistent, constructive feedback to performers at all skill levels
Collaborate with the instructional staff to ensure cohesive teaching methods and performance standards
Support and encourage performers to achieve their personal and team goals
Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and creative team culture
Qualifications:

Demonstrated proficiency in movement and equipment techniques (flag, rifle, and/or sabre)
Previous instructional or performance experience in winter guard, drum corps, or a related activity preferred
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a staff team
Passion for teaching, mentoring, and supporting young performers
Availability on weekends for rehearsals
