Humble ISD seeks an energetic, enthusiastic, highly qualified color guard director/dance teacher for Summer Creek High School. Candidate must be organized, detail-oriented, have effective classroom management skills, and solid communication skills with parents, students, and administrators. Candidate must demonstrate strong knowledge of movement and equipment pedagogy, be a great motivator, passionate about excellence, professional in everything he or she does, and a team player.
The ideal candidate will have Dance Certification with color guard performance and teaching experience. We are looking for a full time color guard director with Dance certification to teach a half day of dance and a half day of color guard.
We will consider non certified applicants for a Paraprofessional (benefits and TRS) color guard only position that will not include dance classes.
