Bio
Paul Lampkin began judging in 1977 for the NY-Penn Judging Association. NY-Penn was amalgamated into the New York Federation of Contest Judges in 1979 and he became a member of the Federation at that time. He served as Color Guard Caption Head for the Federation in the early 90’s and its Vice President from 2002 –2004.
He first adjudicated for WGI in 1980 and has been associated with them since that date. Has served on the WGI Task Force for over 15 years including 3 as Task Force Coordinator. Mr. Lampkin has also adjudicated for DCE, DCI, WGI Friendship Cup and many regional and national marching band events including state championship events in New York, Pennsylvania, Florida, Oklahoma and Oregon.
In his professional life Mr. Lampkin is the vice president of an industrial supply company. He was a history major at Niagara University and is married with 2 children.
