Steve Calhoun has been a music educator, clinician, consultant and adjudicator for over 30 years. He earned a BS degree from Jacksonville State University, a Masters degree from the University of West Georgia, and an EDS degree from Lincoln Memorial University. His marching experience includes the JSU Marching Southerners Drum Line and Charioteers drum and Bugle Corps. His groups have performed and competed successfully throughout the United States and abroad, including the Presidential Inaugural Parade in 1985, World Expo 88 in Brisbane, Australia, and the Saint Patrick's Day Parade in Dublin, Ireland. He has served as an adjudicator nationally and internationally, including BOA Finals, DCI Finals, MCBA Finals, USSBA Finals, Drum Corps Japan Finals and WGI Championships, along with many other local, regional and national events. He is married to Gwen, and they have a son, Tommy, who is an Eagle Scout. He is currently the visual designer for Reinhardt University and Brass Consultant for Atlanta CV drum and bugle corps.
