Shirley Stratton Dorritie has been involved in the pageantry activity for over 45 years and specializes in training performers throughout the world for optimal achievement. A licensed psychotherapist, Shirley works with a broad spectrum of individuals and groups—including performers, athletes, educators, and first responders—who are required to manage the pressure of performance in order to deliver their best when it really counts.
Shirley joined the WGI judging roster in 1994. She has served as Judge Development Manager for WGI since 2016 and Director of Judge Education for the Winter Guard Association of Southern California since 2011. She is the author of the WGI-Certify Judge Training series.
A member of the Drum Corps International Hall of Fame and the Winter Guard Association of Southern California’s Order of Excellence, Shirley currently serves as Performance Strategies Coordinator for the Concord Blue Devils.
