Bio Jaycee Clarke-Bentley has been involved in the pageantry arts as a performer, director, choreographer and adjudicator for over thirty years. During that time her training came from such WGI greats as Stanley Knaub, Scott Chandler and Karl Lowe. She has performed with The 1998 WGI gold medalist Blue Devils Winterguard, EveryBody Winterguard, Fantasia, The Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corp, The Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corp, and as a cast member of BLAST! She has taught with many high schools on the west coast and spent a decade with Mt. Carmel High School. Under her direction they were a 2 time WGI finalist and the 2008 WGI Scholastic A Silver Medalist. Jaycee’s current Winterguard circuits affiliation including WGASC, NWPA, TCGC, IHSCGA, NTCA, MCCGA and CWEA. Originally from Vancouver WA, she graduated from California State University of San Marcos, and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in San Diego. She is a board certified Orthopedic Physical Therapist for Intermountain Healthcare system. Following graduation she has been working for the past ten years on the Blue Devils Health and Wellness Team. Currently Jaycee works with the Ballet West Dance Company as the primary physical therapist. She resides in Salt Lake City with her husband Stephen, and handsome son Jackson.
