James Mahoney

Captions WGI Colorguard Design Analysis, Colorguard Equipment, Colorguard General Effect Bio James Mahoney attended his first drum corps contest, C.Y.O. Nationals in Boston, when he was 4 months old, and began his marching career at the age of five. A  lifelong and dedicated participant in the activity, he performed with the 27th Lancers Drum and Bugle Corps, as well as Maine Attraction, Quasar and Odyssey winter guards. James worked in several design, consultation and instructional capacities for many winter guard units, including: Indio HS, Norwalk HS, Flanagan HS, Spring HS, 27th Lancers, Odyssey, Fantasia, St. Ann’s and Blessed Sacrament. He previously served several terms on WGI's Steering Committee, and was its Chief Judge. James resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Boston, Massachusetts and works in the information technology field.     Back to list page
