The Northern Garrett County High School Marching Band, located in Garrett County, MD, is seeking a passionate and experienced Color Guard Instructor to teach and motivate our guard team. Help us lead and grow our guard, and our band as a whole!

We are looking for someone who can lead color guard rehearsals, teach and motivate new and experienced members, choreograph and teach routines, collaborate with our staff on visuals and drill, and build a strong, positive team environment.

Must be at least 21, have color guard experience, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

This will be a part-time job that runs from April to November, covering after school rehearsals on Tuesdays and Thursdays, parades in the summer and fall, band camp in August, football games (usually on Friday evenings, sometimes Thursdays or Saturdays), Saturday Tournament of Bands competitions, and other events like pep rallies that support the school and the community.
