Royse City HS is accepting resumes for the position of Color Guard/Winter Guard Director.

The Color Guard for the upcoming season has 40+ members. The RCHS Color Guard has placed well at marching competitions (top 3 consistently) over the past several years.

The Winter Guard has also experienced success in the past few years, medaling at NTCA multiple times and beginning competition in WGI events.

Applicants should be available to attend all marching band activities (rehearsals, Guard sectionals, football games, contests). The RCHS Color Guard also offers a class during the school day that most of the Color Guard/Winter Guard students sign up for each year. The teacher must be available to teach this class during the school day (certification not required).

Applicants should be well versed and accomplished in teaching all guard equipment (rifle, sabre, flags). Applicants that are experienced in writing/teaching choreography are preferred. Pay is very competitive.
