Beginning with the 2027 WGI World Championships, all groups wishing to participate and needing to secure overnight hotel accommodations must utilize the official WGI Housing Service. Groups that do not comply with this requirement will not be permitted to compete in the World Championships.

Discounted Flights
WGI announced an initiative to help lower the financial barrier to all World Championships events for 2025. Two major airlines have agreed to offer discounted group rates for airfare to Ohio area airports for WGI’s World Championships events. United Airlines and Delta will grant discounts on published prices for groups flying into one of four select airports: Dayton (DAY), Cincinnati (CVG), Columbus (CMH), and Indianapolis (IND).
Delta Airlines
- Up to 8% off published fares depending upon booking class
- Valid Travel Dates – March 31st – April 26, 2026.
- Delta discounts are only available for individual travel. Group travel does not apply.
United Airlines
- Up to 5% off published fares depending upon booking clas.
- Valid Travel Dates – April 5th – April 22, 2026
