The Dominion High School Band program is currently accepting resumes and contacts for the position of Battery Instructor (potential percussion caption head) for the 2025-26 marching season and school year.

Position Reports to: Director of Bands

Duties/Responsibilities:
* Attends band camp (July 28-Aug 1 and Aug 4-8)
* Attends competitions and football games
* Attends rehearsals during the marching season
* Assists/leads battery and fully percussion sectional rehearsals
* Teaches/cleans drill, music, etc.
* Develop technique/fundamental program

Skills/Experience: Individual should possess strong skills in pedagogy/teaching, music performance, and marching/visual performance. Collegiate, DCI and WGI experience is a plus but is not required.

Availability: Late July through Early November. Possible clinics throughout the year. Potential additional stipend money if available to assist with HS and MS percussion programs during the school day.
