The Highlands Regiment Color Guard at Northern Highlands Regional High School is seeking a new Color Guard caption head! We are a USBands Group 2A ensemble and a young, growing program looking for fresh energy, creativity, and new ideas. There is also support and interest in building a winter guard program, which the school has not had in 10+ years, allowing an exciting opportunity for candidates to create their own vision and curate a program of their own.

Responsibilities include writing and teaching choreography, instruction, and collaboration with the marching band staff to support a positive student experience. Schedule includes band camp in August, Tuesday/Thursday rehearsals (5–8 PM), Friday night football games/sectionals, and Saturday competitions, with flexibility available.

Applicants should have at least 60 college credits and experience in color guard performance and/or instruction. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, reliable, and excited to help grow a developing program. Compensation starts at $2800 for the season but is negotiable with experience/availability.
