Southlake Carroll HS in Texas is looking for a new percussion director starting in January. We are seeking a passionate educator with strong beginner percussion pedagogy, experience with indoor, and terrific organization and communication skills. This person will teach high school, middle school, and beginner percussionists but not be responsible for a concert band.
The percussion studio is 40+ students at the high school level with another 60+ between grades 6-8. Southlake Carroll placed 7th at Grand Nationals this year, 12th at UIL Texas 6A State Finals last year, and the drumline was promoted to World Class in WGI last year. They have frequently medaled in A and Open Class as they have grown over the past 5 years.
