WGI requires that all groups provide a complete list of adult supervisors on the Director’s Dashboard.
WGI defines an adult supervisor as “an individual in a managerial, instructional, design, or volunteer role spending two or more hours in-person per season with participants.”
It is the Director’s responsibility to ensure that the list is accurate, complete, and that each member has met the Background Check and Participant Protection Training Requirements prior to working with performers. Audits of group requirements will be performed and groups not in compliance will be removed from their registered event.
In order for qualified groups to send a representative to the Advisory Board Meeting, that person must appear on the group’s adult supervisor list as of April 1st.
All Participant Protection Requirements, including Adult Supervisor Lists, are due December 31st.
