WGI Mourns the Loss of Eileen Cunningham

Eileen Cunningham, the heart and soul of St. Ann’s Color Guard of Neponset, Massachusetts, passed away on August 30, 2025, after a lifetime devoted to young people, color guard, and her beloved community of Dorchester. A Story of Generational Teachers at E.D. White HS

Olivia Adamietz grew up with color guard. Her dad, Todd Adamietz, has been teaching color guard for over 40 years, and it was never a question on whether she would be involved with the activity. Personifying Hope with Warren Central HS

Dressed in all black from head to toe, Warren Central High School spread eighteen benches across the white floor encased by black edges as they took the stage to tell the story of NF Nathan John Feurstein in their 2025 Scholastic World Class program entitled, “Hope.”

2025 Summer Board of Directors Meeting Recap

The WGI Board of Directors had its annual meeting in Las Vegas at the beginning of July. Over two days, directors met to discuss a long list of organizational goals, review WGI policies, adopt a budget for the fiscal year, and approve proposals passed from the Advisory Boards that have a financial impact.
