The Forest Hills Colorguard located in Cincinnati, Ohio is seeking an Assistant Director for the upcoming winterguard season. This position will assist with all aspects of the guard program. The program is growing and we are adding this role to help support the colorguard program. The current coaches will be returning and with this position additional, the team will include 2 high school director positions, 1 middle school director position and 2 technician positions.
Our winter teams compete in the TriState Marching Arts Circuit locally and WGI nationally. We currently have 3 competitive winter groups within the local circuit – JR, RA, & IA.
This role would include 2-3 weekly rehearsals, some weekend extended rehearsal days and performances. The ideal candidate would have previous teaching experience in both outdoor and indoor colorguard. We hope to include this person in our future planning past this winter season and that this person would have a goal to remain with the program for 2+ years. The pay for this position is hourly and based on experience level and would be discussed during the next steps of the hiring process.
