The Kelso High School Kilties Color Guard and Winter Guard Head Coach position is open! This position encompasses both fall and winter guards. We are hoping to have someone in place by the end of the 2024-2025 school year, if not sooner. The current Interim Coach is stepping back to the Assistsnt Coach position after completing Winter 2025 duties.

In the fall, Kilties is an activity/club that falls under Marching Band as part of the music department, with the Band Director as the lead. Winter Guard is a sport, and the Head Coach will report to the Athletic Director. Both seasons are supported by the Music Booster Club and ASB budget.

This position is located in Kelso, Washington, which is about an hour north of Portland, OR. There are 2 competitive circuits in this area.  The closest is Northwest Association for Performing Arts, serving Portland, OR and surrounding areas. The next closest is Pacific Performing Arts, serving Seattle, WA and surrounding areas. Kilties has performed in both circuits.
