Grapevine High School is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Color Guard Director to fill an immediate full-time position.

Responsibilities include:

• Attending all rehearsals, football games, contests, and winter guard events
• Writing choreography and staging for performances
• Collaborating with the band and dance staff

Position Details:

• Salary: $40,000 annually
• Start Date: Summer Band for Color Guard begins July 28
• During the school year, the marching band rehearses:

Monday after school (6:30pm – 9:30pm), Wednesday before school (6:20am – 8:20am), Thursday before school (6:20am – 8:20am), and Friday before school (7:00am – 8:20am)

• The Color Guard class meets daily from 1:40 PM to 2:25 PM and is currently led by the school’s dance director. The new Color Guard Director is welcome and encouraged to lead this class.
