WGI is pleased to announce our 2026 Regional Event Schedules. These calendars feature over 70 events across three divisions, culminating in the WGI World Championships in Dayton, Ohio.
NEW for the 2026 regional season, WGI is proud to unveil the launch of REGIONAL+ events. These newly designated regionals mark a significant evolution in the competitive landscape, improving the accessibility of traditional Power Regional events with an enhanced adjudication model to better serve performers and educators across the activity.
The REGIONAL+ format is a direct response to the increasing financial and logistical challenges associated with securing large-scale arena venues for Power Regionals. These streamlined, cost-conscious events are designed to lower barriers to participation, reducing travel and lodging expenses while bringing the WGI experience closer to home.
With over 25 REGIONAL+ events planned for the 2026 season, this expansion represents a significant investment in the educational and competitive experience WGI provides. We can’t wait to welcome you to the 2026 season. More panels, more feedback, and more opportunity. See you this winter!
