WGI Sport of the Arts is seeking a qualified candidate for a Graphic Designer position within the organization. Position Overview:

For this position, we are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to create visually compelling digital and print designs that align with brand identity and marketing strategies. This role reports virtually to the WGI marketing team and collaborates with them to develop diverse projects, including digital art, branding assets, and print advertising, utilizing a broad skill set across various design platforms and tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging visual content for digital and print media, including logos, illustrations, layouts, and marketing materials.
  • Develop and execute branding concepts that enhance brand recognition and consistency across all channels.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to produce compelling visual assets for social media, websites, and advertising campaigns.
  • Coordinate design projects from concept through completion, ensuring adherence to deadlines and specifications.
  • Utilize design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to complete tasks as necessary.
  • Create, organize, and maintain a library of assets created.
  • Curate photos and stock assets to enhance visual storytelling.
  • Maintain consistency in color management, typography, layout design, and overall visual style across projects.
  • Present design concepts clearly to internal teams and incorporate feedback effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing work in branding, digital compositing, vector illustration, and print advertising.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other relevant tools.)
  • Strong understanding of composition, color theory, typography, sign manufacturing processes, and print production standards.
  • Experience with photo editing and/or retouching a plus.
  • Strong written skills to communicate ideas effectively to clients or team members.

Compensation:

This position is compensated on an hourly basis with a contracted monthly retainer. Hourly rates and minimum monthly commitments will be defined in the contract and may be adjusted periodically based on performance and scope of work. Additional hours may be assigned and compensated based on project demands and company needs.
